2010 Cabernet Sauvignon Yellow Label, Wolf Blass, South Australia, Australia

Wolfgang Franz Otto Blass was born in 1934 in Germany. In 1966, he established Wolf Blass Wines. Wolf began working with his first winemaker, John Glaetzer, in 1970, and within a year John followed Wolf to his new Bilyara winery.

In 1973, Wolf really hit his straps by making the first Wolf Blass Black Label. Black Label would go onto win the 1974 Jimmy Watson Trophy, an accolade that is still considered Australia's most prestigious and sought after wine award.

Wolf Blass has a long and proud history of making award-winning wines utilising age-old methods. Enhanced by a world-class winery offering innovative winemaking features, this blend of old and new allows their winemakers to create extraordinary wines.

Wolf Blass winemakers also set the very highest of standards. From meticulous fruit selection, fermentation in open vessels that are at once traditional and state-of-the-art, small batch winemaking that allows freedom of experimentation, to maturation in the finest oak barrels, their wines are expertly crafted at every stage of production.
