2012 Rose Talamonti, Abruzzo, Italy, Cerasuolo d'Abruzzo DOC

This wine exists due to a collaboration of 18 entrepreneurs who show a great love for their region and the Abbruzo wines. Their collaboration came about through the creation of the Cantine Talamonti.

The combination of tradition with modern production methods leads to nice crisp wines with lots of character. The favorable climate and ideal soil composition ensure that the Montepulciano grape ripens fully here and gives a lot of flavor. The wines not only smell tasty, they also confirm this tastiness in the mouth. This wine comes from the best vineyards around the town of Loreto Aprutino.

This wine is grown in a soil with pebbles and limestone with an excellent drainage. The vineyard is situated at an altitude of 300 meters. Harvest in mid-October. Fully destemmed. Maceration for 2 days and fermentation at low temperature for 1 week in stainless steel vats.
