The Domaine des Ardoisières is located on the steep slopes of Cevins, in Savoie, where the vineyard was revived in the late 1990s thanks to the initiative of Michel Grisard. Taken over and further developed by Brice Omont, the estate now cultivates old Savoyard grape varieties such as Mondeuse, Altesse, Persan, and Jacquère under biodynamic practices. The vines, planted on terraces of schist and slate soils, produce mountain wines of remarkable purity, combining freshness, minerality, and depth. Today, the domaine stands as an emblematic reference in the renaissance of Savoyard viticulture.
