The Domaine Jean-Claude Leclerc is a family estate located in Menetou-Salon, in the heart of the Centre-Loire vineyard. The estate cultivates several hectares of vines spread across the historic villages of the appellation, on clay-limestone and stony soils of Kimmeridgian origin, very similar to those found in nearby Sancerre.
The Leclerc family grows the two traditional grape varieties of the appellation: Sauvignon Blanc for the whites and Pinot Noir for the reds and rosés. Vineyard work focuses on controlled yields and preserving the expression of the terroir. In the cellar, vinification remains classic and precise, aiming to produce wines that are clean, balanced and true to the Menetou-Salon style, where freshness, aromatic purity and mineral finesse dominate.
