Domaine Achillée, located in Scherwiller, is a family-owned Alsatian estate run by the Dietrich family. Today, it is led by Jean and Pierre Dietrich, continuing the work initiated by Yves Dietrich. The estate has been practicing biodynamics for more than twenty years, is certified by Demeter and Organic Agriculture, and relies on a mosaic of terroirs spread across several villages along the foothills of the Vosges.

The house style is based on vibrant, low-intervention wines made from spontaneous fermentations, with a clear focus on purity, sincerity of terroir, and balance. The estate is also known for its eco-responsible straw-bale winery, an emblem of its environmental commitment.

Eveil des Sens Riesling is a blended cuvée sourced from the estate’s four terroirs: gravel soils from Scherwiller, decomposed granite from Grand Cru Frankstein, schist from Schieferberg in Bernardvillé, and sandstone from Hahnenberg. This blend perfectly explains the wine’s profile: tension, salinity, length, and a very precise citrus expression.
