Soil is composed of limestone and clay.
The village of Saint-Aubin is located between the villages of Chassagne Montrachet and Puligny Montrachet. "Les Pitengerets" is among one of the best Premiers Crus, located close to the famous Chassagne Montrachet.
The Vintage 2011 : After a very cold winter and a demanding spring, the hot summer was regularly interrupted by rainy intervals which early september gave way to a bright and warm weather, that speeded up the maturation of the grapes. Harvest began mid-September under a bright sunshine. Meticulous vinification and aging have enabled to tame the vibrant acidity of the white wines. Aging in oak during 13 months.
