2023 Trio, Domaine Berthet-Bondet, Jura, France, Côtes-du-Jura AOC
Since 2018, the Berthet-Bondet Estate has been run by Hélène Berthet-Bondet, who took over from her parents, Jean and Chantal. Located in Château-Chalon, the estate today covers around 15 hectares of vineyards, planted on the emblematic Jurassic marls that define the great terroirs of the Jura.
The vineyard is farmed according to organic principles, with great attention paid to soil life and vine balance. The estate works with the classic Jura grape varieties — Savagnin, Chardonnay, Trousseau, Poulsard and Pinot Noir — planted on carefully selected parcels that highlight the diversity of the terroir.
In the cellar, vinifications are carried out with restraint and precision, aiming to preserve freshness, purity of fruit and a faithful expression of place. The range includes both topped-up (ouillé) wines and traditional Jura wines, offering a clear and elegant interpretation of the region’s identity.
