Domaine de la Garenne is a family-owned estate in Sancerre, run by Fabienne and Benoît Godon-Reverdy. They farm approximately 12 hectares organically, following an independent grower philosophy focused on terroir work, estate vinification, and parcel-driven expression of Sancerre soils.
The Les Villaudes cuvée comes from a small 0.4-hectare plot planted on clay-limestone marl soils, with vines around 25 years old and harvested by hand. The wine is aged for one year in truncated cone-shaped wooden vats, bringing texture and subtle complexity without overpowering the Sauvignon Blanc.
