Dane Hermes is located in the heart of the Tikveš region, one of the historical birthplaces of viticulture in North Macedonia. The vineyards are notably situated in the Lepovo area, renowned for its particularly favourable conditions for wine production.
The continental climate with Mediterranean influence, characterised by warm summers and cooler nights, allows optimal grape ripening while preserving the natural acidity that is essential to the wines’ balance. The soils, combining clay and limestone elements, contribute to the tension and aromatic precision of the cuvées.
Led by the Jovanov family, the estate embraces a contemporary approach to Macedonian viticulture, with rigorous vineyard work, plot selection, and controlled vinification aimed at preserving fruit purity. The Dane Hermes style is defined by clean, approachable yet technically precise wines, where freshness and varietal expression remain central.
