Yann Chave runs a family estate based in Mercurol, primarily producing Crozes-Hermitage, with additional vineyards in Hermitage and, more recently, Saint-Joseph. The vines are hand-harvested and organically farmed. His wines focus on purity of fruit, refined tannins and the fresh expression of Syrah, without excessive extraction.
