Based in Cesset, in the Allier department, Domaine Grosbot-Barbara has played an important role in the revival of Saint-Pourçain. Denis Barbara farms around 8 hectares of vineyards across a range of distinct terroirs, showcasing the region’s emblematic grape varieties: Gamay, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Tressallier.
His Brut 0 is particularly distinctive: it is said to be the only traditional-method Blanc de Noirs produced in Saint-Pourçain from Gamay.
