Built in the mid-nineteenth century, the Château de Ligré has been the property of the Ferrand family for three generations. The property consists of 30 acres in the south of Chinon. Here traditional methods are combined with the most advanced techniques to control the different stages of production.
The Cabernet Franc is the only grape variety that can be used to make Chinon rosé.
Château de Ligré Rosé won the gold medal at the "Concours Général Agricole" 2013 in Paris.
