It is in the commune of Laurens, in the heart of the Faugères appellation, that the vines of the Domaine Léo Vareille plunge their roots in a schist soil typical of the village. The wines express fully their typicity on this terroir.
The Southern Terroir of the Cévennes, composed mainly of schist and facing due south, enjoys the maximum sunshine ideal for the vines.
