2011 Petit Chablis, Domaine Chanson, Bourgogne, France, Petit Chablis

In 1999 Chanson Pere & Fils is integrated in the family group around Bollinger Champagne. This group of family domains brings together the best specialists in every area: Bollinger and Ayala Champagne, Langlois-Chateau in the Loire, Delamain in Cognac. A new team, with extensive experience in the major areas of the Côte de Beaune and Côte de Nuits, makes every effort to pursue high quality. Authenticity, letting the terroirs express themselves and a close partnership with the best winemakers of Burgundy contribute to this.

Recently, Jean-Pierre Confuron received the coveted title 'Winemaker of the Year 2014', awarded by the magazine 'Revue du Vin de France' in the context of their wine trophies. After the selection of Chanson by the American magazine 'Wine & Spirit' as one of the 100 best producers in the world, this award is yet another testimony of the expertise and know-how of the Domaine Chanson.

Soil: Chalk
Site: Produced around Chablis, at the top of the hills surrounding the village.

After a very cold winter and a demanding spring, the hot summer was regularly interrupted by rainy intervals which early September gave way to a bright and warm weather, that speeded up the maturation of the grapes. Harvest began in the last days of September under a bright sunshine.
