The Mann estate is located in Eguisheim, where the vineyards are farmed according to certified organic and biodynamic principles. Grapes are harvested by hand, often pressed as whole bunches, and fermented using indigenous yeasts. Great importance is placed on the geological identity of each vineyard, with granite, sandstone and limestone soils each expressing a distinctive style. Sandstone soils produce wines renowned for their saline character, roundness and persistence, while limestone gives broader, richer wines with excellent ageing potential.
