The Domaine de la Bégude became the beginning of Guillaume and Soledad Tari's adventure in 1996. Guillaume, the seventh generation of winegrowers, raised at Château Giscours in Margaux, was born in Gascony and naturally became an adopted Bandolese, in love with the Mourvèdre grape variety and its favorite terroir.
Located on the highest peak of the Bandol appellation, at an altitude of 410 meters, the estate has 30 hectares of vines divided into 55 parcels.
Seduced by the beauty of this wild nature, Guillaume Tari has banned all weed killers, pesticides and chemical fertilisers since his arrival in 1996.
