Champagne Collet's is the oldest house of champagne producers, founded in 1921 by Raoul Collet. She now relies on a supply of nearly 650 hectares of vineyards in the best vintages of champagne. In Oger they build new facilities with a storage capacity of 37 million bottles. The two new wineries can produce 29 000 hectolitres and 27 000 hectolitres.
Using more than 20 wines in its composition, 10% of reserve wines are used depending on the year in order to preserve the character to champagne.
This champagne has received 48 months aging ”sur lattes” in the cellars. The wines are deliberately kept longer in order to offer a wine with perfect ripeness. The legislation imposes a minimum aging of 15 months without vintage.
