Located at the foot of the majestic Dentelles de Montmirail in Sablet, Domaine La Perdrière covers 27 hectares and is farmed organically.
Taken over in 2010 by Vasco Perdigao, assisted by his wife Sonia Perdigao, the estate reflects a passionate journey through viticulture and dedication. In 2024, the estate took a new turn with a modernised cellar, new bottle design, and the decision to retire its former name, “Domaine Chamfort.”
The name “La Perdrière” echoes the partridge (in Provençal and Portuguese “perdigao”): symbolically, the place where it finds refuge.
The wines are rooted in the appellations of the Rhône Valley: Vacqueyras, Rasteau, Gigondas, Côtes du Rhône Villages Sablet, and Séguret, “honest, genuine, and vibrant” cuvées, as the winemakers describe them.
