Located in the Anjou-Saumur region, Domaine de la Bougrie benefits from an exceptional terroir characterised by schistose and limestone soils, ideal for viticulture. Anjou is an ancient wine-growing region, with traditions deeply rooted in the local culture. The estate grows a variety of grape varieties typical of the region, such as Chenin Blanc and Cabernet Franc.
They practise integrated viticulture. This includes environmentally-friendly methods, reducing the use of chemicals and promoting biodiversity.
