Sacriana [säkrɪänä]

The term 'sacriana' is an old word which means the libation of fresh grape must. Must is the mixture obtained after pressing or crushing the grapes. Libation is a religious ritual of presenting an offering to a god. Sacriana is a libation to Liber Pater, a god associated with Bacchus or Dionysus.
